ABDURRAHMAN TARIKCI

Born in Yozgat, Turkey, Abdurrahman Tarikci holds a Ph.D. in physics from Turkey’s Middle East Technical University (METU). He went on to become a sound engineer, producer, and arranger at Studyo TINI. He is an assistant professor in the music department at Çankırı Karatekin University. He has participated as a sound engineer at international music festivals such as "METU Jazz Days" (1996), "Akbank Jazz Festival" (1997 and 1998), and Ankara Music Festival" (1998). An instrumentalist and singer, he has been featured in many TV programs as an orchestra memberb playing bas and bas bağlama. (Programs include "Türkü Türkü Türkiyem", "Bir Nefes Anadolu", "Üçü Bir Yerde", "Bergüzar", "Dem bu dem", "Tatlı Dile Güler Yüze", "Balkan Havası", "Türkü Söylemek Lazım", "Çalsın Davullar", and "Dem-i Devran.")
