At USC, Behforouz wrote a piece for the NOW Ensemble and sang with the University of Southern California Chamber Singers, performing the West Coast premier of Craig Hella Johnson’s “Considering Matthew Sheppard” and touring new music in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. Behforouz is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at Indiana University, studying International Law and Institutions. She continues to perform as a solo artist, vocalist of the Soul Revue band, and member of Bloomington’s Silk Road Ensemble.
